LadyDevimon

LadyDevimon is an Ultimate-level, Virus-attribute Fallen Angel Digimon. She is best known as Angewomon’s bitter rival and as one of the classic dark Ultimates in the Digimon Story games. Her English and Japanese names are the same, so you will see “LadyDevimon” in every region.

Who is LadyDevimon

LadyDevimon is a demon who walks like a lady and fights like a brawler. Her design is a pale-skinned, masked figure in black with tattered bat wings and long claws. It reads as Devimon’s darkness poured into a sleek, theatrical villain. Fans searching “lady demon” are almost always looking for her.

What makes her memorable is her rivalry. Franchise lore casts LadyDevimon and Angewomon as mirror images: one holy, one fallen, endlessly at odds. In Digimon Adventure, their fight became one of the most quoted Ultimate-level brawls of the original series. In the Digimon Story games she is the dark-type Ultimate you build when you want raw offensive pressure.

Evolution line

Evolution lines change a lot between the anime, each game and the card game, so the tables below are split by medium. If you want the wider picture of how dark lines connect, our Digimon evolution chart covers every major evolution line.

Anime

Series	From	To	Notes
Digimon Adventure (1999)	Not shown	Not shown	Appears already at Ultimate as an antagonist, not as a partner

LadyDevimon has never been a main partner Digimon in the anime. That is why no on-screen Digivolution into or out of her has become canon. She shows up fully formed and ready to fight.

Digimon Story games

The classic V-pet style line runs through BlackGatomon (BlackTailmon), the shadow counterpart of Gatomon (Tailmon). Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth uses this route, which fits the Angewomon mirror theme perfectly.

Game	From	LadyDevimon	To
Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth / Hacker’s Memory	BlackGatomon (Champion)	Ultimate	Lilithmon (Mega)
Digimon Story Time Stranger	Check in-game evolution screen	Ultimate	Check in-game evolution screen

LadyDevimon is part of the Digimon Story Time Stranger roster. Exact stat, ABI and CAM thresholds depend on the game and version, and we have not listed figures we could not confirm. The good news: both Cyber Sleuth and Time Stranger show the precise requirements on the Digivolution screen once you have registered the target. If you are working through the time stranger digimon roster, our Digimon Story Time Stranger Digimon list with pictures helps you find every dark Ultimate at a glance.

Card game

Card game	LadyDevimon’s level	Digivolves from	Digivolves to
Digimon Card Game (2020)	Level 5	Level 4 cards, per the cost printed on each card	Level 6 cards, per the card’s own text

In the current Digimon Card Game, Ultimates are printed as Level 5. Each LadyDevimon print lists its own Digivolve cost and colour requirement. Read the specific card rather than assuming one print works like another.

Signature attacks

These are LadyDevimon’s two core moves as named in her franchise profile and used across the games.

• Darkness Wave: She unleashes a swarm of bats made from darkness that slams into the target. In Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth this is her signature move, a dark-element attack that hits hard against light-aligned foes.
• Poison: She stretches her arm into a sharp claw-spear and pierces the enemy at close range.

Darkness Wave is the move most fans remember. It also gives you the clearest tell in battle that a fight against Angewomon has turned into a fight between light and dark.

Trivia

• She is the anti-Angewomon. The rivalry is baked into both Digimon’s lore. Fans have long paired them as the light and dark sides of the same idea.
• The BlackGatomon line completes the mirror. Gatomon becomes Angewomon, and BlackGatomon becomes LadyDevimon. That symmetry is one reason this line feels so satisfying to raise in the Digimon Story games.
• Lilithmon is the natural next step. Taking her to Lilithmon, one of the Seven Great Demon Lords, turns a fallen angel into a demon queen.
• An X-Antibody variant exists. LadyDevimon X appears in franchise data. Check each game’s own roster before you hunt for it, because not every title includes the X version.
• Same name everywhere. Unlike Gatomon (Tailmon), LadyDevimon kept her name in the English localisation.
