Lilithmon

Lilithmon is the Demon Lord Digimon of Lust, a Mega-level Virus type and the only woman among the Seven Great Demon Lords. You probably know her as the scheming general from Digimon Xros Wars (called Laylamon in the Digimon Fusion dub) or as a top-tier Dark attacker in Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth and Time Stranger. Here is her full file, with every level, line and attack tied to the medium it comes from.
Who is Lilithmon

The Digimon Reference Book introduces Lilithmon as the “Goddess of Darkness”, a cruel and immoral Digimon who seduces her opponents with her beauty and then leads them to ruin. She belongs to the Nightmare Soldiers family and the Dark Area, and she holds one of seven seats among the Seven Great Demon Lords, the group that also includes Lucemon, Leviamon, Daemon, Belphemon, Barbamon and Beelzemon. Her sin is Lust, and her crest is based on the astrological symbol of Venus.
The thing that makes her lethal rather than merely dangerous is the Nazar Nail, the golden claw on her right arm. According to her official profile it corrodes anything it touches. Pair that with Phantom Pain, a dark breath that rots the target’s body, and you get a Digimon that wins by decay rather than brute force. She is written as a temptress, but every version of her, from Xros Wars to the Story games, is first and foremost a killer.
Evolution line
Lilithmon’s lines vary a lot between media, so each table below names the source. The one thread that runs through almost every game is LadyDevimon stepping up into Lilithmon. If you are hunting for her, that is the Ultimate you want on your roster.
Anime: Digimon Xros Wars (Digimon Fusion)
Xros Wars does not use the traditional level ladder at all. Digimon there fight at fixed forms and combine through DigiXros, so Lilithmon never evolves from or into anything on screen.
| Medium | Evolves from | Evolves to | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Digimon Xros Wars (2010-2011) | None shown | None shown | Appears fully formed as a Bagra Army head officer |
| Digimon Fusion dub (2013-2015) | None shown | None shown | Same footage, renamed Laylamon |
The series never gives her a Rookie or Champion stage, and no official line was created for the anime afterwards. Any “anime evolution line” you see for her is borrowed from the games.
Digimon Story games
Cyber Sleuth and Hacker’s Memory share one evolution chart, and Lilithmon sits at the Mega tier as a Virus-attribute, Dark-element Digimon. Her classic route is through LadyDevimon.
| Game | Evolves from | Evolves to | Conditions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth (2016 West) | LadyDevimon | None (Mega) | Mega-tier level requirement plus stat and ABI thresholds shown on her evolution screen |
| Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory (2018) | LadyDevimon | None (Mega) | Same chart and thresholds as Cyber Sleuth |
| Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth Complete Edition (2019) | LadyDevimon | None (Mega) | Both games bundled, chart unchanged |
| Digimon Story Time Stranger (2025) | See her in-game evolution panel | None (Mega) | Level, stat and personality-linked requirements listed in the Digimon profile |
Cyber Sleuth’s evolution screen lists exact numbers for level, stats and ABI, and those numbers are the only thing standing between you and her. ABI is the stat that trips up most Tamers: it rises each time you digivolve or de-digivolve, so a LadyDevimon you rushed straight up the ladder usually does not have enough. Bounce her down a stage and back up a couple of times, and the ABI gate opens.
How to get Lilithmon in Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth
- Raise or scan a LadyDevimon and keep her in your active party.
- Open her evolution screen in the Digi-Lab and note the level, stat and ABI targets for Lilithmon.
- Build ABI by de-digivolving and re-digivolving along the line a few times.
- Level and train until every listed requirement shows green.
- Choose Lilithmon from the evolution list and confirm.
In Time Stranger the same idea applies, but the game adds Personality into the mix. Each Digimon’s personality shapes its stat growth, and when you convert or evolve a Digimon, its possible personalities depend on the form. Lilithmon’s panel in the in-game database shows her base stats, her resistances and her evolution conditions, and you should treat that screen as the final word rather than any community spreadsheet. Our “time stranger digimon” roster list is the place to see her alongside every other Mega in the game.
Tamer tip
In Cyber Sleuth, Light and Dark deal bonus damage to each other. Lilithmon hits angels like Seraphimon and Ophanimon hard, but they hit her just as hard back, so always check who moves first before you commit her to that fight.
Other games
| Game | Evolves from | Evolves to | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Digimon World Dawn and Dusk (2007) | LadyDevimon | None (Mega) | Part of the Seven Great Demon Lords content |
| Digimon Masters Online | LadyDevimon | None (Mega) | Mega stage of the LadyDevimon line |
Dawn and Dusk were the first Western releases to let you actually raise her, a year after her virtual-pet debut, and they kept the LadyDevimon route that later games would reuse.
Card game
In the Digimon Card Game (2020 onward) Lilithmon is a purple Level 6 card with the Demon Lord type and the Seven Great Demon Lords trait, which is the hook for the dedicated Demon Lords archetype. Set codes and card numbers are left out here because her printings keep multiplying with each new wave of support.
| Medium | Level on card | Digivolves from | Typical requirement |
|---|---|---|---|
| Digimon Card Game | Level 6 (Mega) | Level 5 purple Digimon | Standard purple digivolution cost printed on the card |
| Hyper Colosseum (older Japanese card game) | Ultimate (Japanese “Mega”) | Perfect-level cards | Varies by printing |
If you play purple, you already know the drill: Lilithmon is a finisher you digivolve into on top of a LadyDevimon or any other purple Level 5, then you lean on her Demon Lords synergy.
Signature attacks
These three come straight from her official profile and show up in nearly every game she is in. The fourth is an anime addition.
| Attack | Japanese name | What it does | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Phantom Pain | ファントムペイン | A breath of darkness that rots the opponent’s body, so they die in agony while their data dissolves | Digimon Reference Book; signature skill in the Story games |
| Nazar Nail | ナザルネイル | Strikes with the corrosive golden claw on her right arm, corroding whatever it touches | Digimon Reference Book |
| Empress Emblaze | エンプレスエンブレイズ | Summons a monstrous demon to tear the enemy apart | Digimon Reference Book |
| Darkness Love | ダークネスラブ | A dark energy attack used in battle | Digimon Xros Wars anime |
In Cyber Sleuth and Hacker’s Memory, Phantom Pain is her personal special skill: a Dark-element magic attack on a single enemy with a chance to inflict Poison. That status chips away at the target every turn, which is a nice bonus on a move you would use for the damage alone. If you are running her as your main Dark attacker, inherit the Nightmare series of Dark spells from her earlier forms so she has a multi-target option too.
In Time Stranger she keeps Phantom Pain as her signature, still Dark, still built around the breath that corrodes. Check her skill list in-game for the exact power and status odds, because those values differ from Cyber Sleuth’s.
Lilithmon X-Antibody
Lilithmon X (Lilithmon X-Antibody) is her X-Antibody redesign, which debuted in Digimon Chronicle X and received its Digimon Reference Book entry on June 26, 2019. She stays a Mega-level Virus Demon Lord, and her official profile frames the X-Antibody as something that pushed her lust-driven nature and her allure even further rather than giving her a new sin.
Visually she trades the simple purple gown for a far more ornate, almost regal outfit, with the Nazar Nail still the centrepiece on her right side. She has appeared on cards in the Digimon Card Game, which is where most Tamers meet her. Whenever a game or set lists her, treat her as a separate Digimon from base Lilithmon rather than a mode change, because that is how Bandai files her.
Appearances
Anime and manga
Lilithmon’s one anime role is also her biggest. In Digimon Xros Wars (2010-2011) she is one of the three head officers of the Bagra Army, alongside Tactimon and Blastmon, serving Bagramon in his conquest of the Digital World. She clashes with Taiki’s Xros Heart and Kiriha’s Blue Flare in the Lake Zone, then in the Sand Zone she kills the mercenary Baalmon. That death matters: Baalmon is reborn as Beelzemon, and his hatred for her drives one of the show’s best running feuds.
Her Japanese voice is Ryoko Shiraishi, and she plays Lilithmon as equal parts vain, petty and terrifying, which is exactly the energy a lust demon needs. In the second half of the series, after Blastmon has been reduced to a head, she lugs him around like a trophy, and the two of them become an oddly funny double act in the middle of a war. Like the rest of the Bagra Army leadership, she does not make it out of the final arc.
The English dub, Digimon Fusion, renamed her Laylamon and aired on Nickelodeon and Nicktoons from 2013. Everything she does in the show happens through the Xros Loader rather than a classic Digivice; if the device confuses you, our explainer on how a “digivice works” across every series covers the Xros Loader too. For the current streaming situation, our “digimon hulu” guide tracks where Fusion and the original Xros Wars are available.
She also appears in the Digimon Xros Wars manga by Yuuki Nakashima, serialised in V Jump from 2010, again as a Bagra Army officer, with the manga taking its own liberties with the war’s events.
| Series | Years | Role |
|---|---|---|
| Digimon Xros Wars (TV) | 2010-2011 | Bagra Army head officer, major antagonist |
| Digimon Fusion (English dub) | 2013-2015 | Same role, renamed Laylamon |
| Digimon Xros Wars (manga) | 2010-2012 | Bagra Army officer |
She is absent from Adventure, 02, Tamers, Frontier, Savers, Adventure:, Ghost Game and Beatbreak. If you want more of the Demon Lords on screen, Frontier (Lucemon), Tamers (Beelzemon), 02 (Daemon) and Savers (Belphemon) are where to look; our “digimon beatbreak” guide confirms the newest series has not touched the Demon Lords yet.
Games
| Game | Release | How she appears |
|---|---|---|
| Digimon Accel (virtual pet) | 2006 | Debut appearance |
| Digimon World Dawn and Dusk | 2007 | Raisable Mega, Demon Lords content |
| Digimon Masters Online | 2011 (global) | Mega of the LadyDevimon line |
| Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth | 2015 JP / 2016 West | Raisable Mega, Dark element, Phantom Pain |
| Digimon Links | 2016-2019 | Obtainable Mega |
| Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory | 2017 JP / 2018 West | Same as Cyber Sleuth |
| Digimon ReArise | 2018-2022 | Obtainable Mega |
| Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth Complete Edition | 2019 | Both Story games on Switch and PC |
| Digimon Story Time Stranger | 2025 | Raisable Mega in the Dark element |
Cyber Sleuth is where she became a staple of Western players’ teams. The Story games reward INT-based magic attackers that can hit a weakness, and a Virus Dark Digimon with a single-target special lines up perfectly against the Vaccine angels and Light-element bosses that litter the late game. Hacker’s Memory then recycled the same chart, so Lilithmon is equally easy to grab there.
Time Stranger brought her back on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, in a game built around the same element and attribute triangles. Her entry in the in-game library lists her base stats, her resistances by element, her evolution conditions and the personalities she can land on when converted, plus a short post-evolution line of dialogue. The whole “digimon story time stranger” package, including how the Digimon database works, is covered in our game overview, and the “time stranger dlc content” piece tracks what the season pass adds for players who want more Megas in the pool.
Card game
Her card history starts with Bandai’s Hyper Colosseum series in Japan, in the same 2006 window as her virtual-pet debut, and continues in the Digimon Card Game that launched in 2020. In the modern game she is a purple Mega with the Seven Great Demon Lords trait, and the archetype built around that trait has made her, Beelzemon, Barbamon and company genuinely competitive rather than just collectible. Her X-Antibody form has been printed as well.
Collectors chasing physical versions of her, from cards to Xros Wars-era figures, can use our “digimon toy” guide for the shops and listings that actually stock Bagra Army merchandise.
The Seven Great Demon Lords
Lilithmon only makes sense in the context of her six colleagues, so here is the full roster as the Reference Book defines it.
| Demon Lord | Sin | First appearance |
|---|---|---|
| Lucemon | Pride | Digimon Frontier (2002) |
| Leviamon | Envy | Digimon Accel (2006) |
| Daemon | Wrath | Digimon Adventure 02 (2001) |
| Belphemon | Sloth | Digimon Savers / Accel (2006) |
| Barbamon | Greed | Digimon Accel (2006) |
| Beelzemon | Gluttony | Digimon Tamers (2001) |
| Lilithmon | Lust | Digimon Accel (2006) |
Notice how Lilithmon, Leviamon, Barbamon and Belphemon all arrived together in 2006. The Demon Lords were formalised as a group that year, with the three older Digimon folded in retroactively. That is why Beelzemon has a Tamers backstory and Lilithmon has none: she was built for the pets and card game first, and only got a personality when Xros Wars gave her one.
Trivia
- Her name comes from Lilith, the night demon of Jewish folklore often described as Adam’s first wife. The Reference Book leans into that by calling her the “Goddess of Darkness”.
- The Nazar Nail borrows from the nazar, the blue eye-shaped amulet used across the Middle East and Mediterranean to ward off the evil eye. Her claw reverses the idea: it is the curse rather than the protection.
- Classic demonology (Binsfeld’s classification) assigns Lust to Asmodeus. Bandai swapped in Lilith, which gave the group its single female member.
- Her Venus-based crest follows the Demon Lords’ pattern of planetary symbols, with Venus being the obvious match for Lust.
- The Digimon Fusion dub changed her name to Laylamon, and she is the only one of the Seven Great Demon Lords whose English name differs from the Japanese one.
- In Xros Wars she is responsible for the death of Baalmon, which makes her the direct cause of Beelzemon’s birth in that series.
- She shares the LadyDevimon route with Ophanimon in some games, so the same Ultimate can swing into Light or Dark depending on how you train her.
FAQ
What level and attribute is Lilithmon?
Lilithmon is a Mega-level (Japanese: Ultimate) Virus-attribute Demon Lord Digimon. In the Digimon Story games she additionally carries the Dark element, which is what decides her weakness and strength match-ups.
Why is Lilithmon called Laylamon?
Laylamon is the name used in Digimon Fusion, the English dub of Digimon Xros Wars. Every other appearance, including Cyber Sleuth, Time Stranger and the Digimon Card Game, uses Lilithmon in English.
How do you get Lilithmon in Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth?

Is Lilithmon in Digimon Story Time Stranger?
Yes. She is a raisable Mega in the Dark element, with Phantom Pain as her signature skill. Her evolution conditions, base stats, resistances and possible personalities are listed on her entry in the game’s Digimon library.
What is Lilithmon X?
Lilithmon X-Antibody is her X-Antibody form, which debuted in Digimon Chronicle X and received its Digimon Reference Book entry in 2019. It keeps her Mega level, Virus attribute and Demon Lord type, with a redesigned look and a profile that frames her allure as even stronger than before.
Which sin does Lilithmon represent?
Lust. She is one of the Seven Great Demon Lords, each tied to one of the seven deadly sins, and her crest is modelled on the symbol of Venus.
